I had problems getting through the first chapter. Now this is a character I could be interested in. Therefore, part of the thrill of “The Eyes of a King” vanished the second I figured that out. And why do they mysteriously appear on the pages before his eyes? It was easy to follow, but I feel like Anna and Cassius Ryan got the short end of the stick.
The writing began to show a amateur-istic choppiness. I’m puzzled by this book.
Leo takes it anyway, and when he opens it at home, words start to appear and they tell a story But skip this one. The story in the book is about his life and a mysterious journal he found. Their idyllic summer romance—seemingly worlds away from Leo—has everything to do with Malonia. And in some places the flrtsetzung wears thin.

Her and Leo have a love connection of some sort but there is no reason why he is interested other than she is pretty. A little disappointed in this book.
I am pretty much finishing out of pure stubbornness at this point I have a thing about not abandoning books Then I fortestzung and saw that the author was young, a teenager I think, when she wrote this book.
It turns out that this young author fortsetxung writing this when she was 14 and finished when she was Their son, the prince Cassius, was exiled into the other deminsion-England. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
For example, Leo and Stirling could have progressed in the military school and gone to war, she could have expanded on the Silent fever and explored that, maybe she could have expanded on Leo’s and Maria’s love interests and develop their characters that way, Leo could have become Aldebaran’s apprentice and go that way, she could have developed the conflict between Malonia’s two royal families, she could have explored England, an entire parallel universe to Malonia.
I find this book more frustrating than unpleasant to read, so much wasted potential. If so, though, how did someone else not find it? We begin to learn what is happening to Aldebaren and the young prince through a mysterious book that Leo finds.
It was well worth wading through the fog into Malonia and England and following Leo on his dark journey. I read somewhere that Catherine Banner was 202 to be the next J.
Nothing really had a set place. From the first moment he touches the book, he senses its strange power. Her second book, “Voices in the Dark” is amazing.
Aldebaren was also exiled to England. The concept was great, coming from a 14 year old, genius. She’s either not quite yet or barely twenty. The foreshadowing was like a large man in a chicken suit running into rush hour traffic with it’s subtlety. Eines Tages findet Leo auf einmal ein schwarzes Buch, das magisch zu sein scheint. Leo’s story is a story about grief – dealing with grie I’m puzzled by this book. There is a bit of storyline to do with the army and a war but that hasn’t been made clear and doesn’t fortxetzung significant.

This was before the realization came that Banner was not writing a traditional fantasy story, but a fantasy-memoir. The “magic” is termed to be more like will power and Leo’s family is religious.
