The altimeter estimates altitude based on its air pressure sensor, not from GPS information.
I would love to talk to someone who has one of the watches. Posted August 26, You said distance to the line.
The issue involves the battery being too close to the watch housing in some watches which, when combined with salt water or heavy perspiration, can cause a small burn on the skin under the watch. Maybe I am missing something but it looks like this watch is not going to be that helpful.
Thanks for those couple of pieces of advice.
Posted June 2, recakl Cool watch has anybody tried it out. Posted October 6, I now have routes that I cannot rename because “name is already in use”, though nowhere is that name to be found. Seriously i want to see anybody punch in a starting line and get it setup to call the line right with those tiny buttons while your going around in circles.
Garmin replaced my original watch and you can see quwtix one is a slightly different version but it still has the same poor accuracy. Posted May 1, Thanks again for clarifying. If it’s watcy good, seems like a decent compromise for my 5 ktsb Data pages for profiles can be set up for both the tracking or navigation modes.

Posted June 3, Of course, the other thing that influenced me was the readout on the watch in the manual highlighted above. As I said before, I don’t think any time to burn algorithm that doesn’t either have watdh polars and wind direction information or target speed is going to work. When I have been on the start line the Quatix has shown me to be up to 8 metres 25 feet away from the line. As each waypoint was passed, the watch immediately switched to the next waypoint in the race-course route.
Garmin has received recakl report from a quatix user of this occurring.

You can engage and disengage the autopilot using the watch—and you can even steer with it. Best accuracy in setting marks is to approach them on the same heading and speed as you will be heading when you start.
The watch’s features and functionality are incredible.
If the algorithm is done correctly, that isn’t a problem. Thailand Navgear Limited Add: Photos by Bill Bishop and courtesy of Garmin. Accuracy was excellent quatiix starting the race. Posted October 8, Perhaps these difficulties would be resolved with good documentation.
I have given up on my GoPro because the pictures are always foggy as soon as I point the boat into the sun.
